Adult Study Group 2023-24 - Online-1

Purpose Of Study Groups

Study groups provide us with the opportunity to study and discuss texts with peers who are at the same level. It's great to have participants with similar questions and doubts because it allows for meaningful discussions. When we have a diverse group of participants, we get to hear different points of view, which leads to enhanced learning. During study group discussions, we not only reflect on the topics discussed but also share how we are applying the knowledge gained in our day-to-day lives. It's amazing how participants offer unique perspectives on what we share, inspiring each other to reflect on the teachings and put them into practice in the various roles we play. Inner transformation can only happen when we truly assimilate and practice what we learn through these discourses. That's why adult study groups are so valuable in helping us achieve this.
